The UHC member portals — uhcmemberhub.com and myuhone.com — are your central hub for managing your health coverage. From downloading your member ID card to submitting claims and tracking spending, this guide covers the key features available to you after signing in with your HealthSafe ID.

Which Portal Is Yours?

uhcmemberhub.com

For ACA/Marketplace plans, dental, vision, and supplemental plans (Health ProtectorGuard) underwritten by Golden Rule Insurance Company or The Chesapeake Life Insurance Company.

myuhone.com

For short-term medical plans (purchased before 5/22/26), TriTerm Medical plans, and Oxford ACA plans in New Jersey — all underwritten by Golden Rule Insurance Company.
If you have a student health plan, visit uhcsr.com instead. Student plan features are similar but tailored to university enrollment periods.

Key Features of the Member Portal

Member ID Card

Your digital member ID card is available immediately after you activate your plan. To access it:
1

Sign in to your portal

Go to uhcmemberhub.com or myuhone.com and sign in with your HealthSafe ID.
2

Navigate to ID Card

Look for ‘ID Card’ or ‘My ID Card’ in the dashboard or main menu.
3

Download or Print

Download a PDF of your ID card or print it directly. You can also add it to your digital wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) if supported by your plan.
Always carry a digital or physical copy of your member ID card. Providers need your member ID, group number, and plan details to submit claims on your behalf.

Claims

You can view, track, and submit claims directly from your member portal:
  • View claim status — See whether a claim is in process, approved, or denied
  • View Explanation of Benefits (EOB) — Understand what your plan paid versus what you owe
  • Submit a claim — If your provider did not bill UHC directly, you can submit the claim yourself by uploading your itemized receipt
  • Appeal a denied claim — Follow the appeal instructions in the EOB document

Find a Provider

Use the Find a Provider tool to search for in-network doctors, hospitals, specialists, dentists, and pharmacies:
  1. Sign in to your portal
  2. Select Find a Provider or Find a Doctor / Dentist
  3. Enter your location, specialty, or provider name
  4. Filter results by your plan network
  5. Confirm the provider accepts your specific plan before booking
Provider network status can change. Always call the provider’s office to confirm they are still in-network under your plan before your appointment to avoid unexpected out-of-network costs.

Benefits & Spending Summary

Track your deductible, out-of-pocket maximum, and benefit usage in real time:

Pharmacy / Prescriptions

If your plan includes a pharmacy benefit, the portal gives you full visibility into your drug coverage:
  • View your drug formulary (list of covered medications and their tiers)
  • Find in-network pharmacies near you
  • Check prior authorization requirements for specific drugs
  • View your prescription spending for the plan year

Account Settings

Update your personal information and communication preferences from the Account Settings or Profile section:
  • Change your email address or phone number
  • Set up paperless billing and electronic EOBs
  • Add or update payment methods for premium payments
  • Manage authorized representatives or dependents on your plan
After signing in, your dashboard gives you a quick overview of your plan status:
  • Plan name and effective dates — confirms your current coverage period
  • Quick links — fast access to ID cards, claims, and Find a Provider
  • Recent activity — your latest claims and benefit transactions
  • Notifications — alerts for pending actions, upcoming renewals, or important messages

Mobile Access

Both uhcmemberhub.com and myuhone.com are mobile-responsive and accessible from any smartphone or tablet browser. UHC also offers a UnitedHealthcare app for iOS and Android, which provides access to your ID card, claims, and provider search directly from your phone without needing a full browser session.
Download the UHC app to access your member ID card instantly — no need to carry a physical card or log into the portal on a desktop browser.

Common Portal Tasks at a Glance

Log in to your member portal, go to Account Settings or Profile, and update your address. For address changes related to your enrollment (not just communications), you may need to contact member services at the number on your ID card, as enrollment records may be maintained separately.
Adding a dependent usually requires a qualifying life event (birth, marriage, or adoption). Log in and look for Manage Dependents or Life Event options under your plan. If you cannot find this option, call member services — they can process the change on your behalf and verify any required documentation.
Go to Billing & Payments in your member portal. You can pay by bank account (ACH) or credit/debit card. Setting up auto-pay ensures your premium is paid on time every month and prevents a lapse in coverage due to a missed payment.
Yes — if you are an authorized personal representative, you can access another member’s portal. Register at the personal representative portal and link to the member’s account using their member information. You must be authorized by the primary member before accessing their account.
